So my little bro and his lovely wife had their second baby girl, Miss Piper Jane, a few weeks ago and she is just so adorable.  Andrea from Andrea Marie Photography took these beautiful photos of her sporting her Chloe Reese accessories from her favorite Aunt Kellie. Embellished Onesie

Well I’m not much of a blogger anymore, which is fine with me, but once in a while I like to share what I’ve been up to.  Here is a project idea I found on Pinterest. I used a 0-6 cap sleeve onesie I had from Andee Lew and simply sewed on the layered fabric circles and buttons as embellishments.  I left the edges raw so when it gets washed the flowers will fray and look even more funky. I also made a matching headband and bracelet.  I’m planning on using this as a gift for the next baby shower I go to (well if it’s for a girl:)).

Christmas Gift Wrapping Idea

I don’t know what has happened to me but I’ve really been getting my craft on.  I have made slip cover pillows, sewn on buttons on shirts that have been sitting in my to do pile for quite some time and been ferociously scouring pinterest to find some of the sweetest ideas out there.   I found this adorable and easy way to dress up your gifts from Andrea over at  bleulune.typepad.com.  And it just so happens that gift giving season is upon us.  I bought this adorable green and white paper at Swiss Days (a crazy and fun handmade vendor event in Midway, Utah).  And I’m going to make these flowers in red or maybe black and silver to put on my Christmas gifts this year.

So creative I think. Check out her easy tutorial at the link above.
